Delightful Spring / 7.34

Very good run today.  Listened to music and had a good time.  I guess I should switch up my listening.  Or maybe it's that I'm not totally in love with my new book.  I am invested in it now and will finish it, for sure, but it is not as awesome as my last series.  Alas!  That author has another series I might check out.  They are mystery novels.  Sounds like he normally writes those but someone on a forum challenged him that he wouldn't be able to write an awesome story based on a lame premise.  And he said, "Bet I could.  Give me two lame ideas."  And so they guy told him to use the lost Roman legion and Pokemon.  And thus was born one of the best fantasy series I've ever read!  Kinda a fun bit of trivia.

Anyway, dang, it smells good out here.  The orange trees are blooming like crazy and it's just so delicious to run outside and smell them.  I'm lucky!

Bart and I are running tomorrow.  I'm not going to do any additional miles, I don't think, because I ran so big today.

Sounds ideal to me! The smell of orange blossoms, gorgeous weather, a running partner...I can only imagine. +32 here this morning but very windy and we had snow flurries over night!!

I managed to keep the patch on all night so will keep it on until 3 pm today. Good thing I can be home today because I didn't shower either for fear the patch would come off. I see in my journal that a year ago I was running 4 miles every morning on the TM and then tomorrow I ran 12 miles outside! Must have been a nice day. I am so far behind last year it's pitiful. I'm limping some this morning, too, which I didn't like to feel.

Hope the new book picks up for you.

I bet a year ago seems longer than a year ago! Sorry to hear you're limping. Really unfortunate.
