Feeling better!
I'm finally feeling better! I'm not feeling great, but I sure feel better. Such a relief. Course, I managed to share it around the office apparently. Or some are taking the opportunity to have a mental health day. Can't say I blame them!
I worked late last night so I slept in this morning and went on a long run around Lake Murray. I hit the bulls-eye twice, so that's 12 miles. And they were 12 hard miles, Dad. Well, that's not true. They were three very hard miles. The last three. If I had to run the marathon tomorrow? No way.
I am also sporting a shiny new blister on my toe. Sigh.

Sorry to hear about the blister but good for you on the 12 miles!! That's great.
I am resting one more day. I will run a 4 or 6 miler tomorrow and see how it goes. If it goes well I will try for a 16 or 18 on Monday. (So, you might have to drive us home from the airport!) The groin feels ok this morning so I'm giving it one more day.
I will be prepared to drive! Boy I hope your groin feels better. Smart to give it another day. Tuesday is our do or die decision day, yes?
I am planning on doing a long run Sunday. Boy, I would like to do 18 but the 12 I did really took a toll on me. I've really pushed myself this week and I'm still not 100% well. So....we shall see. If I cannot get in 18 miles Sunday, I need to do that early next week. I'd really like to do an 18 and a 20 before the marathon. We'll see.
I took today off because I was really a hurting unit. My eating was poor today, too, which is frustrating but not something I'm going to beat myself up over.
