I put in the most distance I ever have today - and I sure can tell. 18 miles! I'm tired! The good thing is that I'm getting so much better about knowing how to give myself a solid post long recovery. Water, of course. But if I eat something right away, it really helps. I also stopped back home at my half way point to get my electrolyte beverage. So I was pretty hydrated during the run.
Had some pain in my knee post run. I will be taking tomorrow off. Or going for a walk. But no running. I think it is probably because I had such a terribly slack week with running and then - bam! - I surprised my body with a giant distance.
I've been eating so much garbage recently, I'm fixing that today!

Amazing! I can't even imagine it. Not in my wildest dreams! But that is great!
I ran the mile home again today and it was fine. My cold is better today, too, so glad that is getting over with.

Thanks! I felt good to get it behind me. Like I've crossed some invisible barrier.
So...haven't weighed myself in weeks! Hm...suppose I should start that again.
I must say again how sorry I am to hear your terrible news. Hopefully these few weeks in your new fashion accessory will solve the problem once and for all.
Day off here today. I was very sore!

PPS - I did well with healthy eating today. Hopefully back on track.
