Outside Run

I ran down to the lake this morning, around it, and then around a couple extra blocks on my way back so I got to 2.6 miles.  But I had to walk a couple times, too.  How can it be that I can run a full 3 miles on the TM without stopping or walking but struggle to do that outside?  Part of my problem this morning was that my legs felt like rubber because of that hill climbing we did yesterday.  So I suppose I need to do more of that!

Yeah, hills are the way to go, it's true. As hard as it is! But it's kinda fun, too. I like hills!

I think treadmill is physically easier (it helps propel forward a bit) but mentally more difficult.
