New Personal Record

My plan for today was to run 9 miles.  I actually only ran 8.3 but I never stopped or walked along the way!!!  Which is a first for me.  The previous record for me was about 4 miles.  I was pretty slow in the second half but I kept moving.  I had planned to take some side trips to get up to 9 miles but decided I would be happy to get home without stopping or walking whatever the mileage was.  I can't quite believe I did it.  But the Garmin doesn't lie and there are no big dips in my cadence chart at all today.  Lots of little dips but no big ones.  I am tired now though.  Off tomorrow and ready for a day of rest.

That's fantastic! I'm really impressed! I think a lot of this is a mind game and now you KNOW you can go that distance without walking.

I'm so glad you can be outside again.
