Pop Watch 2010 Continues!

Well, here we are at day 2 of no pop! Another success but it was difficult, no kidding. I am just so used to it.

I had such a great run this morning. It felt really good to be back on the road. I ran three miles at a bit over a 10 minute mile.

I pushups and abs and even triceps dips. OUCH.

And then I did hills. Yep, back to old times!

Good eating times today, too. And a really successful FM outing with Bart. Fun night!

Sounds like you had a great day in the food and exercise departments! Good for you! Good thing you're not here this week because Coke has been on sale so I've stocked up!

Running, exercises and hills? Wow! You are back with a vengeance.

I couldn't quit the soda, especially since I'm brewing my own these days.

The haul from Farmer's Market was small, yet bountiful. It'll make for a great dinner on Sunday.

With a vengeance is right! My arms are already hurting tonight from all the band stuff I did this AM! This pop thing is making me crazy though. Although it just shows me that it really was a necessary change.

I'm not totally quitting the pop gig. I'm quitting the habit gig and starting the treat gig!

FM times were great. I had that dal tonight and it was really so delicious. I'm excited for dinner Sunday!

Why are you giving up the pop? Calories? You can drink diet like I do! No calories there. Coke Zero is pretty good, too.

Yeah, I LOVE the Coke Zero! But I was drinking so much I wasn't drinking as much water any more. I also read that it kicks the sweet tooth up a notch because you get used to that super sweet flavor. And I need to get my eating in check.

Coke Zero has no calories, so that's good. I just want it to be a treat, not an every 10 minute beverage!
