Today I ran and it really hurt. I decided after a mile that this was my last run in those shoes. They did such mean things to my feet. So I went to milestone after piano and got a new pair. New balance, which I haven't had before. They felt good and seem to have me land on the inside of my heel rather than the outside. Any way, 30 day wear em and love eh, so worth a shot.
My other update is that I realized I haven't tried my old phone with iTunes. Maybe it was the other apps. So I put a book on iTunes and let that play with my beeping app. Played for over an hour, just fine. So.........maybe?
This is another post brought to you by swipe typing!

I love that swipe typing on my little tablet! Big selling point for me!
Glad you got some new choes. I've never tried New Balance either. Where is this store again?
Also glad to hear about the old phone!
I did my thing again this morning and all went fine. Wearing the old orthotics all day yesterday and now today so will see how the foot is after a couple days.
Yes, soon it will be SD running for me! I wonder how the streets are around that house we rented. Anxious to see.
I'm not totally awesome with the swipe typing yet, but getting better. It's just such a different way of thinking of the keyboard.
This store is called Milestone Running and it is right on El Cajon Blvd - pretty close to my house! 2545 El Cajon Blvd. http://www.milestonerunning.com/
Oh, I forgot to tell you what he thought was causing my foot problem. Apparently my old shoes (that I had been wearing a version of for a couple of years) has a 12 mm heel to toe differential. And I said, "I have no idea what that means!" So that means that the shoe is built so that my heel is 12 mm higher than my toes. That's the slope between heel/toe. But the new shoes I had - that hurt! - have a 4mm differential. So he thought that might be the reason those shoes didn't work well for me. I learned something! I didn't even know about that.
Hope your orthotics help you. maybe we will go to a running store!
I think you'll really like your hood for running. Good streets. You'll be able to develop a quiet route.
I had no clue about that heel to toe ratio either but I did feel that these Atrex shoes I bought were higher in the heel than the Asics I've been wearing. Sounds like this guy knows his stuff and might be worth a visit there.
Glad to hear about our neighborhood, too. I'm anxious to get there and take a drive around to figure something out.
Yeah, we should stop in there. It is a nice place.
I think you'll have good success with finding a route in your hood!
