Weekend

Why are weekends soooo short? I mean, I realize they do consist of two days while the week is made up of 5. But the week actually feels like 50 days and the weekend feels like 50 seconds!

I did not run yesterday. I was just really sore and figured a day off would serve me well. We did go to the batting cages, though. It sure has been some time! And I can tell. SORE!

I ran today. Used my new iPod and it worked just fine. I ran 6.62 miles today. I only have 345.7 miles left to go on my goal!

I have a roast marinating tonight and I'll stick it in the crock pot tomorrow morning. I have some other easy things for the week. I imagine I'll be working a lot due to this filing deadline, so I'm trying to make my life easier.

Well, my foot still isn't 100%. So I bought some arch wraps. These:

So far I like them. My foot didn't bother me at all during my run. I also got a sleep sock and I HATE IT!!! I am taking it back. It is like an oven! I don't know what I was thinking - seriously, the dang thing is practically made out of velvet or something! I'll get a different one that is more "sock-y".

P.S. I bought a new scale. I have decided that I can't possibly weigh so much. It must be the scale. Geeze, I hope this is true.

Ha! I've been threatening to buy a new scale!! How's it working for you?

Sleep sock? What for?

As someone who never has a weekend off I can't relate to your first paragraph! I know Mondays are all too short that's for sure.

You're doing great on your goal! I'm proud of you!

Well, my new scale told me, "Girl! Run more! Eat less!" Same thing my old scale told me....but with more detail. SIGH! You'll like it where you're here though. It doesn't just say "136.5...", it says "136.8". My old scale just went by the half pounds. And, this may be better. It is less then that one dark, terrible day that spelled the death of my scale!

Thanks! I'm having fun with it - which is the only point in doing it!
